ATW Appoints New Judson Smith President

WARWICK, RI – ATW Companies, a leading provider of engineered metal manufacturing solutions, is pleased to announce that Mike Howard has joined the company as President of its Judson Smith division and as an ATW corporate officer. Mike brings with him more than a decade of high-level leadership experience in the manufacturing engineering field.
Prior to joining ATW, Howard served as General Manager of a division of Parker Hannifin in Cleveland, OH, where he was responsible for all aspects of business development, strategic planning, operational planning and management, sales and marketing, and globalization activities for the organization. Howard previously held other senior positions at the firm, leading engineering, product management, and operational functions. Earlier in his career as a Lean/Quality Manager, he was responsible for all lean manufacturing activities and quality functions across five division locations.
Howard holds an MBA in Integrative Management from Michigan State University and a BS in Computer Science from Western Michigan University.
Howard has demonstrated a strong aptitude for facilitating continuous growth and improvement of operations. He will surely play an integral role in ATW’s future endeavors as the company continues its commitment to excellence, innovation, and corporate sustainability while meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations.
