ATS Medical Completes Acquisition of CryoCath's Surgical Ablation Business

MINNEAPOLIS, June 28 -- ATS Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATSI) today announced the completion of its acquisition of the surgical cryoablation business of CryoCath Technologies which was reported on June 19, 2007. The assets being acquired include the SurgiFrost®, FrostByte®, and SurgiFrost XL family of products for which ATS Medical has been CryoCath's exclusive agent in the United States and distributor in certain international markets since November 2004.
