ASTM Committee F07 on Aerospace and Aircraft seeks participation, through presentations and papers, for 12th Annual Hydrogen Embrittlement Workshop, which will take place November 17, 2016 in Orlando, FL. Presentations are being solicited within all hydrogen embrittlement technology areas, including evaluation of existing test methods, new test method proposals, failure mechanisms, and prevention. Presentation title submissions are due to workshop chairpersons by September 30, 2016.

Presentations Invited for ASTM Workshop on Embrittlement



W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.—ASTM Committee F07 on Aerospace and Aircraft is seeking participation through presentations and papers for the 12th Annual Hydrogen Embrittlement Workshop on November 17, 2016 in Orlando, Florida, USA, during November Committee Week.



The committee is soliciting presentations within all areas of hydrogen embrittlement technology including:

•Â Â Â  Evaluation of Existing Test Methods

•Â Â Â  Proposal of New Test Methods

•Â Â Â  Failure Mechanisms

•Â Â Â  Prevention and Other Related Topics



The workshop is the only annual technical meeting on hydrogen embrittlement testing technology for the aerospace industry, and is ideal for exchanging ideas and receiving feedback from the hydrogen embrittlement testing community.
