Wright has been with Armacell since 2005 having previously served as technical manager at Monarch Rubber Company. ASTM International Committee on Sports Equipment, Playing Surfaces, and Facilities Names Isabel Wright as New Chairman
Isabel Wright, technical manager at Armacell LLC in Chapel Hill, N.C., has been named chairman of ASTM International Committee F08 on Sports Equipment, Playing Surfaces, and Facilities.
Formed in 1969, F08 has over 900 members and includes 36 subcommittees that oversee over 180 standards related to sports equipment playing surfaces and facilities. The standards aim to enhance safety and reduce risk of injuries. Wright has been a member of ASTM since 1993.
Wright has been with Armacell since 2005 having previously served as a technical manager at Monarch Rubber Company. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. In 2001, Wright received awards of appreciation for her work on committee D20 on Plastics and in 2003 for her work on F08.
