Air & Waste Management Association to Hold 105th Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas



PITTSBURGH, --The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) will hold its 105th Annual Conference & Exhibition, June 19-21, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas.

"Texas has been on the forefront of environmental solutions and services so San Antonio provides the perfect location for our 2012 Annual Conference & Exhibition, which is built around the theme 'Leading Environmental Frontiers,'" said Robert Hall, A&WMA Interim Executive Director. "With a technical program that covers a vast variety of topics, attendees from all fields will gain applicable knowledge and make valuable connections with colleagues from around the world."

The Annual Conference will feature a technical program with more than 500 presentations, two technical poster sessions where over 150 posters will be displayed, more than 150 exhibitors displaying the latest products and services, social tours and networking events, professional development courses taught by leading instructors, and a student program.

The Keynote program will feature Kevin Butt, General Manager and Chief Environmental and Safety Officer for Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing and Carl Rush, Senior Vice President Organic Growth for Waste Management and this year's Keynote theme is "Environmental Leadership Toward a Sustainable Future."

The conference will also feature the 42nd Annual Critical Review, titled "Energy Supplies and Future Engines for Land, Sea, and Air." The review will be presented by David Gordon Wilson, Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering, MIT.
