ASC Launches Innovation Awards Program In 2017
Nomination package now available for ASC Innovation Awards
Bethesda, MD – The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) announces that it is launching the ASC Innovation Awards Program, an innovation oriented award program in 2017. This award will recognize innovation in adhesive and sealant product developments. Recipients of these awards will demonstrate the value proposition of the novel chemistry and added value in a field application or improvement in design and chemical process.
“The ASC Innovation Awards will recognize and honor the use of an industry technology that has significant impact in a new or different way, in order to promote the innovation orientation of our industry,” says Steve Duren, Senior Director of ASC. “Innovation is one of five key strategies making up the Council’s Long Range Plan, and this new program will focus on promoting our industry while recognizing its most innovative developments.”
The award will be overseen by the ASC Membership Committee. The Nomination Package, sponsorship opportunities, key dates and contest rules can be found on the official awards page HERE. The awards will be presented at the opening reception at the ASC Annual Spring Convention in Atlanta, Georgia on April 3, 2017. Submittals must be received by COB January 31, 2017.
