ARPAC Stretch Focus Factory Fuels Growth in 2008
The Stretch Wrapper Focus Factory recently celebrated 18 months of operation in October 2008. A corner stone of ARPAC's lean AM2 program the focus factory, located in Schiller Park, Illinois, is a manufacturing process that accommodates the entire semi-automatic stretch wrap line in an assembly line process. Complete with a dual bay robotic welding station, powder coat finishing capability and one piece cellular flow, the Stretch Wrapper Focus Factory is one of the most advanced production facilities in the packaging machinery industry.
The ARPAC Stretch product line has experienced significant double digit compounded annual growth for 2007 & 2008 over prior year and the activity does not seem to be slowing. No problem. ARPAC's Focus Factory is currently operating at only 40% capacity. As a result ARPAC has been able to reduce the amount of finished inventory while still being able to ship machines within 24 hours of order receipt.
The ARPAC Stretch line is quickly gaining recognition as an industry leader in quality and value. ARPAC Stretch designs have been streamlined and improved by input from our customers and suppliers through a series of Kaizen events. This has ensured that ARPAC Stretch Wrappers are the most feature rich and user friendly machines in the industry. ARPAC Stretch machines are rugged and durable. With an all welded steel frame and powder coat finish they are suitable for any production environment. In addition standard Allen Bradley PLC's, operator interfaces and other off the shelf components ensure that replacement parts are readily available.
