APICS Inland Empire Symposium Places Spotlight on Innovation at May 2 Event for Manufacturers and Distributors



A panelist of industry experts will share the importance of innovation in manufacturing and distribution on Saturday, May 2 at the Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona, Calif. Attendees will not only hear how to stimulate ideas and calculated risk-taking but will also benefit from networking and expert guidance.



Claremont, Calif.-The Inland Empire Chapter of APICS,  the leading association for supply chain and operations professionals, is focusing on service with its Spring Executive Panel & Networking Symposium, Innovation: a MUST for Manufacturers & Distributors on Saturday, May 2. The ideas-rich symposium will give attendees time to network as well as participate in an expert panel discussion on how our current business climate demands we innovate, how companies have integrated innovation into their cultures and where to look for new ideas to remain competitive.



Tapping into experts, we are proud to have assembled a dynamic panel which includes the nationally-recognized authority in the transportation sector and on the global supply chain, Fran Inman, a member of the California Transportation Commission and VP of Majestic Realty, Chief Procurement Officer Rich Malone of WET, an innovative company who builds and installs the world's big fountains like Las Vegas' Bellagio,  Bob Bennett, president of Lean Consulting Associates, LLC and former Lean expert for Toyota and Professor Kash Gokli, Professor of Manufacturing Practice at Harvey Mudd School of Engineering.
