ANSI Federation members are reminded to recommend qualified candidates for membership on ANSI's policy and other committees by July 29, 2011. Three-year terms begin January 1, 2012 and conclude December 31, 2014. Also, several program oversight committees have nominations processes to facilitate candidate identification.

Nominations for ANSI Policy and Other Committees Are Due by July 29



The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) wishes to remind all members of the ANSI Federation to recommend qualified candidates for membership on the Institute's policy and other committees. Nominations are due by Friday, July 29, 2011. The three-year terms begin January 1, 2012, and conclude December 31, 2014.

Policy committees seeking new members (voting and non-voting) include:

Conformity Assessment Policy Committee (CAPC)

National Policy Committee (NPC)

Intellectual Property Rights Policy Committee (IPRPC)

International Policy Committee(IPC)

ANSI ISO Council (AIC)

Several program oversight committees also have nominations processes to facilitate the identification of candidates from ANSI members. These are included in this call for nominations as well; more details are available on the nomination form.

To nominate a candidate, submit the nomination form by Friday, July 29, 2011.

Candidates being nominated for voting positions must also include a letter of corporate support and a biographical statement setting forth the candidate's relevant qualifications. (Please note: Nominations of ANSI individual members, government members, and corporate officers do not require a letter of corporate support.)

Voting membership in the Institute Policy Committees is limited to approximately thirty-six persons appointed by the Chairman of the Board and approved by the Executive Committee of the Board from among eligible nominated candidates.

A single nomination form per ANSI member is requested. Nomination forms and other materials should be submitted to:
