ANSI/AMCA STANDARD 99-10, "Standards Handbook"



Arlington Heights, IL, USA---The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA International) announced that the Board of Standards Review of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved the following document May 19, 2010; ANSI/AMCA STANDARD 99-10, "Standards Handbook." This standard was previously approved by the AMCA membership on September 9, 2009, and then sent to ANSI to begin approval process. ANSI/AMCA Standard 99-10 is a compilation of individual short standards that cover a wide variety of topics.

ANSI /AMCA Standard 99-10 is available for purchase at www.amca.org Accreditation approval was given through ANSI for this standard as a single standard, as such, we will only sell as a collection and no longer sell each standard individually.
AMCA International is accredited by ANSI as a standards developer using the "canvass" method. The canvass method provides and promotes a process that verifies the principles of openness have been followed in the approval procedure. It also ensures that a consensus of those individuals who are directly and materially affected by the standard(s) has been achieved.
