Ambrell Sells an EASYHEAT to a Fastener Manufacturer
The client will use the system for heat treating nuts of various sizes with automation
Scottsville, NYÂ — Ambrell, a leading manufacturer of induction heating systems, sold an EASYHEAT 4 kW 150-400 kHz induction heating system to a fastener manufacturer for a nut heat treating application.
The client will use the EASYHEAT within an automated process. The titanium nut will be moved into the coil, heated to 675 ºC (357 ºC), and then moved into a press. There are several different size nuts that will be heated with this system, and the 4 kW EASYHEAT achieves the process’s heating time requirements in all cases.
The client took advantage of Ambrell’s complimentary testing by the applications laboratory to prove out the process and determine the ideal induction system for its process requirements. Ambrell recommended the EASYHEAT and sent the client its heat treated parts for inspection along with a video and a laboratory report.
