Aluminum Distributing, Inc. (dba ADI metal) Receives Pioneer Status by Achieving Certification to the Latest Continuous Improvement Standard Known as ISO 9001:2015, Significantly Ahead of the September 2018 Deadline
FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, Jan 23rd, 2017 - ADI Metal, a global distributor of metal for marine, government and industrial use has been successfully certified to the revised ISO 9001:2015 global standard for quality management. While the new standard must be adopted by September 14th, 2018, ADI Metal committed to take a pro-active approach to attain certification years before the deadline. The certification achieved in September 2016 encompassed the firm’s entire value chain, including; sales, processing, preservation, risk management and delivery. Adopting and achieving this comprehensive certification early, designates ADI Metal as a pioneer in this transition and in the metals industry.
ADI Metal partnered with the South Florida Manufacturers Association (SFMA) and FloridaMakes, Inc., to ensure a successful transition to the revised standard.
