Altera Customers Honored With CES Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Showcase Awards


Consumer Electronics Show, LAS VEGAS, January 3, 2006-Altera Corporation (NASDAQ:ALTR) congratulates its customers who are winners of the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Showcase Awards. LG Electronics and Roku Labs use Altera's programmable solutions to ensure a competitive edge, including the flexibility to quickly and cost-effectively respond to changing consumer market demands. This year's CES Innovations Award recipients are among the growing number of consumer electronic manufacturers who recognize the competitive advantages provided by Altera's programmable solutions.
