Allied Waste Industries, Inc. Announces Completion of Buy Sell Transaction

PHOENIX, April 2: Allied Waste Industries, Inc. (NYSE:AW) today announced that it has acquired the Arizona collection operations of Waste Services, Inc., (NASDAQ:WSII) two transfer stations and a landfill also located in Arizona. Additionally, Allied Waste Industries, Inc. sold its south Florida operations to Waste Services, Inc., consisting of a collection operation, a transfer station and a materials recovery facility.
