Akamai Showcases Mobile Innovation at Mobile World Congress 2015

Live Demonstrations of Company's Emerging Mobile Technology to Anchor Participation

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Attendees of Mobile World Congress 2015 will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how new technologies being developed by Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) have the potential to externalize mobile network assets to the cloud and allow Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to more easily develop new and smarter mobile CDN services. The technology and solutions Akamai will be demonstrating build on 15 years of making the Internet fast, reliable and secure, and are intended to illustrate how the company is applying its Internet expertise to the cellular network, all with the goal of helping MNOs and others in the mobile ecosystem provide an exemplary subscriber experience.

from users across all mobile networks. The demonstration is intended to

show network performance as compared anonymously to other networks in a

geographical location.  Attendees can generate a QoE score based on

factors such as; bit rate, frame rate, start-up time, number of

        rebuffers and page load time.

--  Akamai Mobile Edge:  A live demonstration, in conjunction with Cisco

designed to showcase Network Aware Mobile Video Performance capabilities
