Available in a 15” diagonal, active matrix TFT LCD, AIS’s ThinManager-Ready Touch Panel PCs and touch screen terminals offer ACP enabled BIOS. AIS’s ACP Enabled Thin Clients connect to the terminal server using TCP/IP. These Thin Clients from AIS are also based upon their popular open architecture automation, control, monitoring systems design. They feature advanced performance, features and functions for applications ranging from the offices to remote industrial plants and facilities.
In some industries, the manufacture, processing, transport or storage of combustible materials results in the creation or release of gases, vapors or mist into the environment. Particularly in areas such as chemical and petrochemical industries, the transport of crude oil and natural gas; this is also a problem in mining, milling and other industries and can result in serious injury to personnel and damage to equipment. AIS’s new ThinManager-Ready Industrial Thin Clients, Rugged DIN-Rail PCs and 15” Touch Screen Terminals families are tested and certified to meet: NEC/CEC Class Division, ATEX Directive 94/9EC, and IECEx Zone standards for increased safety with industrial PCs used in Division 2 and Zone 2 control, measuring, testing, data collection and communication applications. AIS safety hazards Zone 2 Class 1 Division 2 Touch Screen Panel IPCs and DIN-Rail IPCs are primarily designed and certified for use remote monitoring control panel applications. They provide accurate, economical, intuitive and user-friendly systems control, operation and monitoring. The petroleum industry includes the global processes of exploration, extraction, refining, transporting (often by oil tankers and pipelines), and marketing petroleum products. The largest volume products of the industry are fuel oil and gasoline (petrol). Key features for AIS’s ThinManager-Ready DIN-Rail PCs with ACP enabled BIOs include many of the same features as its touch panel brother, but is loaded with an Intel® Celeron® N2930 processor, 2M cache up 2.16 GHz, 7.5 W maximum TDP, compliance with ANSI/ISA 12.12.01, 2012, standard rail, wall, portrait and side mounting options, high resistance to vibration and shock and a full-metal enclosure with high EMC/EMI.
