AIA Welcomes Space Companies to Its Ranks



Arlington, Va. - AIA welcomes six companies from the space sector to its ranks this year. The companies include Alliant Techsystems (ATK), Broad Reach Engineering, Integral Systems, Paragon Space Development Corporation, Pacifica Engineering, Inc. and SRA International.

"We're delighted to bolster our already strong space advocacy with these new companies," said AIA President and CEO Marion C. Blakey. "America's future in space is at a critical juncture and it is important that all companies with an interest are part of the discussion."

The Space Division of AIA is leading the debate on a number of critical issues such as developing a national space strategy, enhancing our space industrial base, protecting critical space infrastructure for national security space and promoting operationally responsive space.

AIA's new space sector members include:

Alliant Techsystems, Inc. (ATK), a leading producer of solid propulsion rocket motors, military and commercial aerostructures, missiles and satellite components to U.S. government agencies and its prime contractors and subcontractors.

Broad Reach Engineering, a designer and producer of spaceflight components and software for aerospace, scientific, commercial and military customers around the world.

Integral Systems, a designer of satellite command and control, data processing, flight simulation, integration and test, and signals analysis systems.

Paragon Space Development Corporation, provides premier hardware and engineering services with the manufacture, maintenance, refurbishment, and operation of human spaceflight hardware.

Pacifica Engineering, Inc., provides engineering design and fabrication, delivery and installation of tooling used for aircraft production and space launch vehicle production.

SRA International, develops, integrates and implements civil and defense NextGen air traffic management solutions and cyber security systems, and provides space and aviation systems engineering services.
