Agilent Technologies Wins Prestigious Supply-Chain Excellence Award


SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 16, 2007 -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that it has received the Aberdeen Group Performance Excellence Supply Chain Award, which recognizes companies that have attained measurable business growth and mastered methods for financial, operational and customer-centric excellence via their supply-chain activities.

Based solely on research results compiled over a 12-month period, the nominees are reviewed and approved by Aberdeen's Research Oversight Committee. Agilent accepted the award at the Aberdeen Group Supply Chain Summit 2007 held in Boston earlier this month. Aberdeen Research is a leading provider of fact-based research and market intelligence focused on the value chain.

Aberdeen cited Agilent's effective use of resources to achieve greater business results through exceptional management and leadership as its reason for winning the award.
