Agilent Technologies' One-Vendor Drive Test Solution Combines Comprehensive Data Capture with High-Value Analysis

Collaboration with QualiTest Adds Proven, Customizable Analysis to Agilent's Industry-Leading Platform, Supporting All Wireless Technologies

Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today introduced the low-cost, robust-featured E6474A-910 Analysis Solution for analyzing cellular interface data captured by Agilent's Drive Test Wireless Network Optimization platform. In collaboration with Qualitest Technologies, Inc., Agilent now offers an Agilent-branded version of QualiTest's proven Gladiator system, enabling customers to obtain a complete data-collection and analysis solution from a single vendor.

Agilent customers can purchase the new Agilent E6474A-910 Analysis Solution with any technology-based toolbox while protecting their earlier investment in the Drive Test Solution. These technology-based toolboxes are "single-click" troubleshooting utilities. The Analysis Solution supports all established wireless technologies and will be immediately updated to accommodate any new capabilities and technologies implemented in the Wireless Optimization Software. The Analysis Solution offers high-value, robust features at a low price, including the optional Custom Report Generator which allows customers to use a simple graphical drag-and-drop interface to perform analyses and create reports customized for specific audiences.

"The usefulness of the Drive Test Solution depends on its ability to analyze, validate and present customized reports of captured data, as well as troubleshoot problems based on that data," said Dave Stewart, general manager of Agilent's Drive Test business. "We teamed with QualiTest because their highly-regarded analysis tool offers the versatility, capabilities and ease-of-use that Agilent customers expect. QualiTest has used the analysis software to provide services for its own clients and has spent years perfecting the solution based on real-world industry experience. The Analysis Solution will maximize the value of our industry-leading Drive Test Solution at a very reasonable price."

"We are honored that Agilent, a global test and measurement authority, selected our Gladiator RAN optimization platform," said Kamran Kashi, CEO of QualiTest. "The patented network-communications system in Gladiator's open-architecture design is uniquely flexible and extensible. The collaboration with Agilent has produced the most comprehensive and powerful Drive Test Platform in the industry."

The Agilent E6474A-910 Analysis Solution, with the technology-based toolboxes and the optional E6474A-911 Custom Report Generator, are available today.
