Agilent Technologies Features Next-Generation 6½ Digit Digital Multimeters at ASEE

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) will feature the recently introduced Truevolt Series digital multimeters at the annual ASEE Conference and Exposition, June 23-26, at the Georgia World Congress Center (Booth 439) in Atlanta.

"The new Truevolt Series DMMs are a good fit for students using the next generation of lab benches," said Doru Popescu, U.S. marketing program manager for Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group. "Thanks to innovative Truevolt technology, we are able to continue to offer a good balance of measurement resolution, linearity, accuracy and speed at a value price for the cost-conscious education environment."

The new Agilent DMMs can help students and engineers see their measurement data in new ways, get actionable information faster and document their results more easily. Exclusive Truevolt technology reduces extraneous factors such as noise, injected current and input bias current for increased measurement confidence.

Agilent's booth will feature a next-generation teaching lab bench, with the latest oscilloscopes, low-noise power sources, an electronics lab teaching kit, a Trueform waveform generator, and the new Truevolt digital multimeter.

The Agilent family of value-priced oscilloscopes is ideally suited for the classroom environment, with prices starting at less than $800. They include the entry-level 1000 Series and the 2000X, 3000X, 4000X and 9000 Series scopes.

TestEquity, an Agilent distribution partner, will show a broad set of low-cost Agilent instruments for engineering lab environments, including the Agilent U1230 Series handheld DMMs, FieldFox handheld RF and microwave analyzers, function generators, power supplies, RF analyzers and oscilloscopes.

An Agilent InfiniiVision 3000 X-Series oscilloscope and two handheld DMMs will be raffled off during the conference at Booth 439.
