Aeroflex / KDI Resistor Appoints Richard Galgano as General Manager

WHIPPANY, NEW JERSEY, June 30, 2006 - Aeroflex / KDI Resistors (Nasdaq Symbol: ARXX), announced today the appointment of Richard Galgano as General Manager of Aeroflex / KDI-Resistor Products beginning July 5, 2006.
Mr. Galgano succeeds Mr. Robert Hathaway who recently announced his retirement as Aeroflex / KDI-Resistor Products General Manager. Mr. Hathaway will continue working with Resistor Products in a consulting capacity beginning in July.
Geoffrey Smith, COO of Aeroflex Microelectronic Solution's Microwave products business unit said, "While congratulating Bob Hathaway on his years successfully leading Resistor Products and on his retirement, we are delighted that Richard has joined our management team. Richard's engineering expertise from his prior work with KDI, along with his design, management and consulting experience is very well aligned with our needs and company objectives."
Prior to re-joining Aeroflex, Mr. Galgano has held various product, process and manufacturing engineering management positions at SGS-Thomson, L-3, and EMC Technologies. Since 2002 he has managed his own business, providing consulting services to a wide variety of top-tier companies, including Aeroflex.
Galgano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University, and a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Aeroflex / KDI Resistors designs and manufactures a full line of high power resistive products selling to both domestic and wholesale companies in cellular, broadcast, medical, telecommunications and military markets.
