Adescor Adds Corrugator for R&D of Small Diameter Corrugated Tubing
Motivated to reduce the development time of new profiles and products for prospective corrugator machinery customers.
Exeter, Ontario – Adescor Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of a UC15 Vario corrugator for the production of small diameter corrugated technical tubing intended to be available for customers to do early development prior to acquiring full production tooling.
The UC 15 Vario Corrugator is designed to produce top quality small diameter specialty technical hoses and tubes, used as medical, automotive tubing, architectural and electrical conduits. This generation of corrugators features the unique variable length mold chain. Quick chain length adjustment and simple operation are central to this innovative design.
The UC 15 built by Unicor of Germany is equipped with blow molding and vacuum forming capability allowing flexibility in which forming method to use. The corrugator is equipped with a mold set allowing insertion of short segments for customers to experiment with new profiles, minimizing the investment and time required to prototype new corrugated tube designs.
The machine is available to be run at Adescor using a mono-layer die head, or can be rented on a monthly basis for customers wanting to experiment with the machine on their own extruder prior to purchasing a turnkey production line.
