Adept Expands USA Distribution with Mechatronic Techniques Agreement


Mechatronic Techniques Brings Extensive Automation Experience to Customers in Texas and Oklahoma

LIVERMORE, Calif.-- Aug. 7, 2007--Adept Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADEP), the leading provider of intelligent vision-guided robotics and global robotics services, announced that they have signed an agreement with Mechatronic Techniques, to be the exclusive representative for Adept's products in Texas and Oklahoma. The relationship expands Adept's distribution strategy and provides customers in the Southern United States with valuable automation expertise based locally in their region.

Under the terms of the agreement, Mechatronic Techniques will be the exclusive representative for Adept products and applications services in the states of Texas and Oklahoma.
