Acoustic Geometry Video Shows "How Sound Works (In Rooms)"

Chaska, MN - Acoustic Geometry is proud to release “How Sound Works (In Rooms)”, a 3:33 video illustrating the basic concepts of room acoustics and treatments. Complete with a before--after example, the video shows the essentials of sound wave behavior in enclosed spaces. Director of Retail John Calder teamed with videographer Mark Gaddis of Schoolyard Productions to shoot the fast-paced video over a span of three days in mid-July.

Acoustic Geometry President J.R. Anderson commented “It’s awesome! This makes some of the more difficult acoustical concepts easily understood - I give it two tall thumbs up.” Utilizing Nerf Disc guns, 1130 feet of florescent green string, and Moiré patterns, “How Sound Works (In Rooms)” clarifies why nearly all rooms benefit from both absorbers and diffusors.

The video can be seen on the Acoustic Geometry YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/AcousticGeometry), and on the AcoGeo website (www.AcousticGeometry.com).
