Accusys ExaSAN Introduces PCIe 3.0 Storage Solutions at NAB Show 2014 SL15413

HSINCHU, Taiwan — At NAB 2014 Accusys ExaSAN will showcase the latest release of PCIe3.0 storage solutions, Thunderbolt DAS/ SAN converter, and PCIe SAN shared storage solutions for multiple OS environments.

PCIe3.0 Tower and Rackmount RAID System

ExaSAN PCIe3.0 storage solutions include the A08S3-PS 8bay tower RAID system and A16S3-PS 16bay rackmount RAID system. At NAB Show 2014, we will demonstrate the high performance of A08S3-PS on the new Mac Pro, which in average can perform 1200MB/s, approximately a stream of uncompress 4K video. Also, we will reveal specifications and release information regarding the A16S3-PS. This 16bay rackmount RAID system with 32Gb high bandwidth will provide exceptional performance to fully support 4K video productions in rack mount environments.

C1M PCIe to Thunderbolt 2 DAS/ SAN Converter

ExaSAN C1M DAS/ SAN converter allows Mac computer users to connect their Mac to ExaSAN DAS and SAN solutions. Each C1M converter has one QSFP port and a Thunderbolt 2 port to transfer ExaSAN’s PCIe to Thunderbolt with downward compatibility. During NAB Show, we will demonstrate C1M with A08S3-PS to bring 1200MB/s performance to new Mac Pro. Also, another C1M will enable a MacBook Pro to access an ExaSAN network.

ExaSAN PCIe Simple SAN Shared Storage Solution with Lv. 2 Local Backup

ExaSAN Simple SAN composed by ExaSAN RAID systems, a MDC built-in switch, and SANit File System is the most cost effective SAN solution for small to medium production workgroups. To enhance the local performance and to add the backup function, we bring out the Lv.2 SAN concept which is attaching local DAS to client host with Z2M HBA card.
