AccuRounds Names Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Sales
Avon, MA - AccuRounds, a precision manufacturer, has promoted Patrick O'Connell to Vice President, Operations and Joseph Barry to Vice President, Sales. O'Connell will be responsible for Operational Excellence throughout the AccuRounds' organization including manufacturing, engineering and quality. O'Connell has been with AccuRounds for eight years as the Operations Manager. He was largely responsible for the implementation of lean strategies that have resulted in higher efficiency and productivity. AccuRounds won a Silver Medal Northeast Shingo Prize in 2006 for its achievements in lean. "Patrick has been instrumental in establishing a lean mindset throughout the company, resulting in daily process improvement activity," says Michael Tamasi, President and CEO of AccuRounds.
Joseph Barry has been promoted to Vice President, Sales. Barry joined AccuRounds as Sales Manager in 2004. He has led sales growth of 85% since that time. Prior to AccuRounds, Barry had 15 years of experience in the metals industry in various sales and management capacities. "Joe has had a very positive impact, creating solid relationships with customers and managing their requirements extremely effectively," said Michael Tamasi.
AccuRounds, located in Avon, MA, manufactures custom precision cylindrical components serving a variety of industries including medical, defense, aerospace, semi-conductor and oil / gas. Capabilities include CNC Swiss screw machining, CNC turning, CNC milling and value-added assembly.
