ABX Engineering, Inc. continues to expand its ruggedized production capabilities by adding a Thermal Products Solutions Lunaire Model CEO-958-2 oven furthering our capabilities for Silicon Conformal Coating of PCBA's.
Ruggedized PCBA EMS is critical for Clients who require their electronic assemblies to function in a harsh, "unfriendly", or rugged environments, ABX Engineering now offers in-house in addition to Polyurethane Conformal Coating, Silicon Conformal Coating as another option to its reliability enhancing manufacturing processes.
Conformal Coating and Potting can be utilized on PCBAs subject to harsh environments. Conformal coatings are designed to form protective barriers over finished electronics assemblies to protect them against extreme environments, electrical leakage, and exposure to moisture, salt, temperature fluctuation, fungus, dust, and other environmental hazards and contaminants. Component layout and construction reliability can be enhanced with silicon and special glues for components vulnerable to damage by mechanical shock and vibration.
