The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) has added 18 new members in 2007, according to president and CEO Rich Walker. Since April, national members that have joined include Ciralight, Inc. of Park City, Utah, GIESSE GSG International SPA of Budrio, Italy, Sheffield Plastics, Inc. of Sheffield, Massachusetts, and Weiss Chemie of Haiger, Germany. New England Woodworking of Middletown, Rhode Island joined as a regional member.

AAMA Company Membership Passes 300 Mark
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) has added 18 new members in 2007, bringing its membership roster to over 300, according to Rich Walker, President and CEO of the Association. Since April, the following five companies have joined AAMA's membership.
National Members
o Ciralight, Inc., Park City, Utah, manufacturer of commercial roof-mounted active daylighting products
o GIESSE GSG International SPA, Budrio, Italy, manufacturer of hardware for aluminum windows and doors
o Sheffield Plastics, Inc., Sheffield, Mass., manufacturer of polycarbonate monolithic and laminated sheet
o Weiss Chemie, Haiger, Germany, manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and specialty cleaners
Regional Member
o New England Woodworking, Middletown, R.I., manufacturer of windows and doors, which is expected to participate in activities surrounding the AAMA Southeast Region
AAMA's membership is represented by window, door, curtain wall, storefront, skylight and sunroom manufacturers, and their material and component suppliers. Founded in 1936, the organization has been developing product performance standards for 70 years, and has been certifying products for over 40 years. The Association also engages in product testing, market research, and continuing education programs for industry professionals.
