AAMA adds 5 new members in July.

AAMA Adds Five New Members In July



SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) has added five new members in July and a total of 23 new members this year, according to Richard Walker, president and CEO of the Association. In July, the following five companies joined AAMA's membership:

Category 1, Corporate Membership is for manufacturers with a national or international presence or interest. The new Category 1 member is Global Vinyl Solutions, Spokane Valley, Wash., www.globalvinylsolutions.com, supplier of vinyl extrusion lineals, completed window units and consulting services.

Category 2, Corporate Membership is for manufacturers with a primarily regional market, but who wish to stay in touch with national industry developments. New Category 2 members are: Luoma Contract, LLC, Wausau, Wis., www.luomacontract.com, provider of drafting, design, fabrication, drawings, engineering, field measurement and representation; ES Windows, LLC, Miami, Fla., www.eswllc.com, manufacturer of aluminum impact windows and NGG LTD., Inc, St. Louis, Mo., www.nggltd.com, manufacturer of custom curtain wall designs, fabrication and installation.

Category 3, Corporate Membership is comprised of manufacturers who strictly serve regional markets and, therefore, have negligible interest in national developments. The new Category 3 member is Armor Screen Corp, Riviera Beach, Fla., www.armorscreen.com, manufacturer of fabric hurricane protection, which is expected to participate in activities surrounding the AAMA Southeast Region.

AAMA consists of window, door, curtain wall, storefront, skylight and sunroom manufacturers, and their material and component suppliers. Founded in 1936, the organization has been developing product performance standards for 70 years, and has been certifying products for over 40 years. The Association also engages in product testing, market research, and continuing education programs for industry professionals.
