Buffalo, NY - Zehnder Group AG, headquartered in Granichen, Switzerland, with international operations in the indoor climate industry, has announced the purchase of Hydro-Air Components, Inc.
Hydro-Air, an ISO 9001-2000 registered company located in Buffalo, New York, manufactures hydronic heating and cooling equipment for the United States HVAC market under the Rittling and Panel Radiator brand names. The acquisition will provide Hydro-Air additional market opportunities internationally and new products for the HVAC market in the United States.
Zehnder's deep manufacturing roots date back to 1923. The company currently designs and manufactures HVAC products in over 13 countries, with over 2,500 employees worldwide. Their broad line of high-quality heating, cooling, and ventilation products are marketed under numerous brand names.
Hydro-Air's strong engineering and distribution network will open the door for Zehnder products in North America and increase the company's overall profit and sales revenues. In addition, Hydro-Air's export sales will increase, as the company plans to market its comprehensive product offering through Zehnder-owned manufacturing and sales locations throughout the world.
