Best All-Around and in Every Individual Category among Tier-One PLM Suppliers
NEW YORK, NY - June 26, 2007 - Yunique Solutions Inc., a leading developer of product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for the fashion and sewn-products industries, has for the second consecutive year been ranked by its customers as the top PLM supplier in Apparel's 2007 Software Scorecard. Among tier-one PLM suppliers, the companies whose focused, full-featured PLM solutions comprise the vast majority of industry implementations, Yunique ranked significantly higher than its competitors in all five survey areas as well as in the PLM/Product Development functional break-out category.
To earn the Best All-Around Tier-One PLM vendor status, Yunique was ranked highest by its existing customers in each of the five areas covered by the survey including overall satisfaction, apparel market knowledge, ROI, user buy-in/user friendliness, and customer service. Overall, Yunique scored 28.67 out of a possible 30 points to far distance itself from its direct competitors and to place 9th among all 50 software vendors including those from seven diverse categories such as ERP, design/CAD, retail and others.
The Apparel software survey, which was conducted online in February/March 2007, queried a total of 363 subscribers and other industry individuals in software decision-making roles. The participants submitted 740 different ratings of their current software vendors. Of the approximate 160 apparel and retail-specific software firms serving the industry, 50 qualified for inclusion in the survey.
