TeliaSonera Affiliate Selects Agilent's New Solutions to Ensure Quality of Universal Mobile Telecommunications System Services
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 6, 2006 -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that TeliaSonera affiliate Yoigo, the Spanish wireless operator and holder of a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System Services (UMTS) license, will deploy solutions included in Agilent's assureME portfolio. These products will deliver key performance indicators on UMTS network, services and customer experience; report on partner implementation; ensuring the network is performing effectively and delivering a premier quality of service to subscribers.

Wireless service providers are trying to cope with efficient network-expansion for new service delivery and subscriber growth, while managing technology migrations, all within the landscape of reduced operating expenditures.
