Yestech-Europe at Productronica: New Technology, Expanded Support and Fresh Opportunities |

Productronica was particularly eventful and successful for Yestech-Europe this year. Having recently strengthened their presence in Germany with full local sales and support, they used the show to unveil significant new products for both AXI and AOI inspection. This clearly visible demonstration of new technology and enhanced support was rewarded throughout Productronica by a greatly increased level of interest and enquiries from key decision-makers across the industry.
3D X-ray attracted the most attention, with visitors investigating the new, improved version of the versatile X3 automated in-line AXI system. The X3 is a well-established solution providing complete inspection of solder joints and other critical hidden features found in electronic assemblies, PCBs and packaged semiconductors. The new version adds to the X3's capabilities with full tomosynthesis, 2D and 3D inspection change on the fly, and surface profiling and tracking.
Yestech's new high-speed, in-line FXSL automated optical inspection system was also being demonstrated throughout the exhibition. The FXSL offers accelerated throughput at over twice the inspection speed of previous generation systems, without sacrificing Yestech's proven defect coverage and extremely low false failure rate. The new system also features capture on the fly imaging technology. Comprehensive and reliable results are further enhanced with angled cameras and multi-colour strobing LED solder inspection.
Yestech-Europe's presence at the show included their two new German sales representative organisations, which were both showing Yestech products on their own booths. SmartRep is now selling and supporting the in-line X-ray range while ANS Answer delivers AOI solutions. Engineers on both booths were kept as busy as their Yestech-Europe colleagues with new enquiries. Significant interest originated from complex automotive technology manufacturers seeking inspection solutions to comply with their customers' requirements.
