Yankee Group's Integrated Media Business Grows with New Executive Hire

Industry Veteran Jim Wagner Joins Firm and Helps Lead International Expansion of Events and Publishing Offerings

Boston, MA, January 5, 2007-Yankee Group today announced the appointment of Jim Wagner as the new senior vice president of Yankee Group's events and publishing division. Wagner's appointment comes at a pivotal point at Yankee Group as the company accelerates its growth of world-class events and publishing offerings internationally since the acquisition of Trendsmedia, Inc. in September 2006.

"We're excited about Jim joining our executive team. Jim has a wealth of industry experience and shares the same vision with Yankee Group in providing our clients with the highest quality of events, publishing offerings and counsel that touch on connectivity issues," said Eliot Weinman, president of Yankee Group's events and publishing division.

"In the short period since Yankee Group's acquisition of Trendsmedia, Inc., Yankee Group's events and publishing division has experienced measurable success, and Jim's leadership will play a significant role in helping to further our reach and extent of our offerings."

As the senior vice president of Yankee Group's events and publishing division, Wagner assumes the responsibility for expanding Yankee Group's events and publishing offerings on domestic and international fronts. Additionally, Wagner will manage all events and media products for the Division as well as oversee the development of existing and new business lines that are essential to meeting corporate goals.

Wagner joins Yankee Group from IBC/Informa, where he spent the last 10 years in various events and publishing roles. Most recently, he was president of IBC USA, a division of Informa, plc, running offices in both Westborough, MA and London. Informa is a provider of specialty information delivered through publishing, events and performance improvement businesses. Wagner was responsible for the day-to-day management of a business with a $35M operating budget, which created information based products for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.

"I am pleased to become an integral member of Yankee Group to help scale up the company's global events and publishing division," said Jim Wagner, senior vice president of Yankee Group's events and publishing division. "Yankee Group is a strong brand in the industry, which I believe will continue to grow as a premier global provider of integrated media products."
