Yale Materials Handling Teams with I.D. Systems to Promote Wireless Fleet Management Technology

CLEVELAND, OH, March 27, 2006 - I.D. Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDSY) and Yale Materials Handling Corporation, a unit of NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., announce a joint promotion of I.D. Systems' Wireless Asset Net(TM) vehicle management system on opening day of NA 2006.

YaleŽ has installed an active I.D. Systems Vehicle Asset CommunicatorŽ on a lift truck in Yale's booth (number 2213), with the device linked wirelessly to a full, live system demonstration in I.D. Systems' booth (number 1041). Visitors can:

o Test vehicle access control o Fill out electronic safety checklists o Send and receive text messages o View vehicle location and activity via remote software o Experience many other system functions first hand

Following the conference, Yale and I.D. Systems plan to pursue a joint marketing initiative.

I.D. Systems' patented Wireless Asset Net system consists of intelligent, RFID-based, vehicle-mounted computers (Vehicle Asset Communicators), a wireless communication infrastructure, and client-server software. The system has demonstrated a substantial return on investment for users by improving industrial workplace safety and security, reducing vehicle maintenance expenses and other fleet operating costs, and increasing fleet efficiency and productivity.
