XtraCare(TM) extended warranty program covers the total CMM measuring system and extends the standard one-year comprehensive warranty to a full three years.
"Because Wenzel CMMs are manufactured to such exacting precision and continue to use metrologically stable granite as the base structure, we are now able to offer a comprehensive extended warranty program that includes a full three years," says Keith Mills, president Xspect Solutions, Inc.
Xspect Solutions has named the new warranty program "XtraCare(TM)" and is making it available with the full cooperation with Renishaw, Xspect's exclusive probing partner. Major components that are included in this warranty program are:
o Wenzel CMM frame o Wenzel CNC Controller o On-site Dell PC support o Renishaw probing system o OpenDMIS software releases as issued, and the ongoing HELP applications desk
Wenzel GmbH is the 4th largest CMM builder in the world and manufacturers its CMMs intrinsically accurate, negating the need for the huge error compensation files to achieve quoted accuracies which have become the norm in past years from most CMM manufacturers. The black granite used on Wenzel CMMs is processed in-house at their impressive manufacturing facilities in Germany, not imported from China pre-finished...which is now the industry norm.
