Xspect Solutions Appoints Bryn Edwards VP of Aftermarket Services

The appointment of Bryn Edwards as the new vice president of aftermarket services for Xspect Solutions, Inc. is announced by Keith Mills, president of Xspect Solutions, Inc.
Mr. Edwards comes to Xspect Solutions from Carl Zeiss IMT, Inc. where he had been director of Aftermarket Services. Prior to that time, Mr. Edwards held various other upper level management positions, over a 25-year period, including president and CEO of Automation Software, president of LK, vice president of Aftermarket Services for Brown & Sharpe, and vice president marketing for Cincinnati Milacron.
In making the announcement, Keith Mills says, "Since the acquisition of Xspect Solutions by Wenzel GmbH in 2007, and the start-up of our new Wenzel/Xspect Solutions manufacturing facility in Wixom, MI, we have addressed the need for a larger aftermarket sales and service presence by establishing a new aftermarket division.
Bryn Edwards has been hired to head up that new division. Bryn is one of the CMM industry's most knowledgeable, experienced, respected and well-known names. In his career, he has been a valuable innovator in CMM machine design, software, sensors and their marketing and application. He will be extremely valuable in developing our overall aftermarket strategies for new Wenzel CMMs and our broad-based CMM rebuild and remanufacturing businesses."
Bryn Edwards was born in England and is a mechanical engineering graduate from what is now the University of Derby, the engineering college associated with the Rolls Royce Aero Engine Division headquartered in Derby, England. Bryn was a former employee of Rolls Royce and lecturer at the college. He came to the U.S. in 1984 as president of CMM builder LK. He and his family currently reside in Brighton, Michigan.
