Presentations are invited for Nonmetallic Inclusion Rating workshop, which will be held November 14, 2012 in Atlanta, GA. Title/abstract submissions are due no later than May 15, and topics may include, but are not limited to, current status of ASTM E04 standards; use of related standards; new developments in inclusion rating; use of inclusion rating as QC/analysis tool for ferrous and non-ferrous materials; use in fatigue life prediction of steel parts; and inclusion rating's future.

Presentations are Invited for ASTM International Workshop on Nonmetallic Inclusion Rating
W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.-Presentations are invited for a workshop on Nonmetallic Inclusion Rating, to be held Nov. 14, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, Ga. Sponsored by Committee E04 on Metallography, the workshop is being held in conjunction with the November standards development meetings of the committee.
The topics may include, but are not limited to, the following subjects:
This workshop may be of interest to the following groups, though any interested individual from the general public is encouraged to attend: metallurgists, metallographers, manufacturing engineers, members of academia and research scientists/staff.
With the author's permission, the presentation or the written report based on the presentation will be made available for download on Committee E04's website, but it will not be officially published by ASTM in either print or electronic form.
