Woolpert Hires Seppi as Project Director
DAYTON, Ohio (February 5, 2007)...Woolpert, Inc. recently hired Joe Seppi, CMS, as a photogrammetry and remote sensing project director in the firm's Dayton office. Seppi will be primarily responsible for directing management, deliverables and budgets across multiple projects while establishing and growing client relationships.
Seppi joins Woolpert with more than 19 years of experience in project management and consulting in the design and fielding of geospatial and enterprise information management systems including: homeland security, transportation planning and engineering, public safety, infrastructure, and defense applications. He received a Bachelor of Science in geology at Denison University before earning a master's degree in regional planning at the University of Pennsylvania.

Seppi currently serves as Vice Chair of the Independent Oracle User Group (IOUG) North American Spatial Special Interest Group (SIG). He received training from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Society of Military Engineers (SAME), and has been an ASPRS Certified Mapping Scientist GIS/LIS since 1995. Seppi has earned a reputation for designing and implementing innovative enterprise-class geospatial data management systems for the Oracle Technology Stack. In 2005 he was awarded Oracle Magazine's Editor's Choice Award for Spatial Developer of the Year.
