CALGARY, AB, - May 4, 2007 - Wmode, the leading provider of digital media distribution services under the ClearModeŽ brand, announces today that Stephen Pezzola, who joined the Board as a Director in August 2006, has been appointed by the Board as its new Chairman. Mr. Pezzola's appointment follows the resignation of current Board member and Chairman, Duane Sharman, who served as Chairman since the founding Wmode.
"As my involvement with the industry has reduced over time, it seemed appropriate to step down and allow new leadership to take the company on to the next growth stages," said Duane Sharman. "Steve is someone that I had asked to join the Board last year. I know that he will add great guidance and focus to both the Board and management."

Mr. Pezzola has twenty-five years experience in mergers and acquisitions, executive and financial management in the private, IPO, and public markets. He practiced law in private law firms for 15 years before becoming general counsel of DSP Communications, Inc., in 1996 which was sold to Intel Corporation in 1999. In June 2000, he was the Executive Vice-Chairman of Zen Research Ltd and led its effort to list on the London Stock Exchange. He currently is the CEO of his own consulting company, Yorkshire Ventures LLC, which advises and assists clients on various strategic matters and negotiations with key corporate relationships.
