A compact, industrial-duty wire cutter and stripper that features a thumb-adjustable cam for matching the wire gauge size and also locks closed for easy storage is available from Xuron Corporation of Saco, Maine.
The Xuron Model 505 Adjustable Wire Stripper/Cutter easily accommodates different wire gauge sizes and locks in the closed position to fit into a pocket, pouch, or tool kit when not in use. Featuring a thumb-adjustable cam, stamped with 12 to 26 AWG (2.05 to 0.405 mm) gauge sizes, this time-saving combination tool is designed for stripping and cutting solid wire.
Manufactured from alloyed steel, heat treated, and covered with Xuro-Rubber(TM) cushioned hand grips, the Xuron Model 505 Adjustable Wire Stripper/Cutter incorporates a full by-pass flush cutter, has a Light-Touch(TM) return spring, and locks for storage. A model 505ST is also offered for stranded wire.
