WHITE BEAR LAKE, MINN. (July 15, 2009) - Wilson Tool International, the world's largest independent manufacturer of tooling systems for punch presses, press brakes and punch and die components for the stamping industry, announced today it has opened a new office in Johannesburg, South Africa. The new office will serve Wilson Tool customers in South Africa and surrounding regions. "Wilson Tool is committed to serving our customers around the world with innovative tooling solutions that help achieve lean manufacturing goals," said Bob Haskins, president, Wilson Tool. "We see great opportunity in South Africa as a new market for our products and look forward to expanding our reach in the region." Simon Penney has been appointed general manager of the Johannesburg office and will oversee operations in South Africa, including offering a full range of tooling solutions, sales and support.
