Philadelphia, PA - April 19, 2011. Crown Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) (Crown) (www.crowncork.com) announces that James D. Wilson has been promoted to President, CROWN Food Packaging North America. The promotion marks his return to the food business, where he served as Vice President, Sales & Marketing for four years. Most recently, Mr. Wilson was President of Crown's North American aerosol business, a position he has held since 2007.

Prior to joining Crown in 2003, Mr. Wilson amassed commercial and general management experience at Reynolds Metals and Alcoa.
Mr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
