WASHINGTON, Jan. 13, 2011 - WidePoint Corporation (NYSE Amex: WYY), a specialist in wireless mobility management and cybersecurity solutions, announced today that Daniel Turissini, Chief Technology Officer, will speak at the Information Systems Security Association-Northern Virginia (ISSA-NOVA) Chapter meeting on January 20, 2011 on the topic of 'Progress of Federated Identity Management: Device Identification, Privacy Protection and the Cloud.' He will discuss the significant advancements in how federated identity management is being applied in enterprise environments. The presentation will spotlight the Department of Defense (DoD) and how it is progressing in its implementation of a true Identity Federation that is scalable beyond a relatively closed government to government and business to government environment.
The meeting begins with dinner and networking at 5:30 p.m., followed by Mr. Turissini's presentation.
