Louisville, KY. Whitford, makers of the world's largest, most complete line of fluoropolymer coatings, has recently launched a WRC, or Whitford Recommended Coater, program, which recognizes those applicators who meet or exceed guidelines set by Whitford. These criteria include knowledge of Whitford coatings and experience in applying them, having a strict quality control program in place, and attendance at one of Whitford's customer training sessions. One of the newest members of the WRC is AST Acme, Inc.
AST Acme has over 50 years of experience as a specialty applicator of custom coatings and rubber linings. With over 80,000 square feet of space, they are able to handle all size projects and offer time-proven materials to fight corrosion, abrasion, or a combination of both on all types of industrial equipment. Their services extend to both the manufacturer and end user of equipment, and involve the selection of a proper coating or lining system, proper substrate preparation, metal modifications, correct application procedures and quality-assurance testing and documentation.
