Whalen Named NEXGEN Scrap Processing Sales Manager
Vernon, AL - June 4, 2008 - Mike Whalen has joined Marathon Equipment as the sales manager for the company's NEXGEN® line of scrap processing equipment. Whalen's focus is to provide solutions for the scrap processing industry through outstanding product quality and exceptional customer service. The line includes equipment such as the Raz-R® Mobile Shear, the Prospector® Wire Processor and other new products.
Whalen's history with the recycling/scrap processing industry began in 1984, but his familiarity with Marathon and its products began in 1992 as a Regional Sales Manager for Marathon's baler and National Accounts divisions in 11 western U.S. states and western Canada. Whalen was the 1995 recipient of Marathon's Salesperson of the Year award. "Mike brings a wealth of scrap processing application experience to NEXGEN.
