Western Shield Label Company, a nationally renowned label printer, is pleased to announce the hire of Brandon Byrne to the newly created position of Controller. Brandon comes from a variety of industries including construction and manufacturing. Brandon has a very strong background in corporate finance with an emphasis on developing and tracking company-wide financial metrics. In his new role, Brandon will streamline the policies and procedures for all Western Shield accounting functions. His background and education will enable Western Shield to develop initiatives that will aid in increasing both gross profits and cash flow.
"I am very excited about this decision", says Thomas Moyer, President of Western Shield. "Brandon brings some exciting new skills to Western Shield. His background in Cost Accounting will enable Western Shield to increase efficiency and cut costs all the while maintaining our excellent quality. Brandon will also work closely with our Operations team and will assist them with implementing Lean Manufacturing initiatives." Brandon holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Pepperdine and is in the process of completing their MBA program as well. He has held positions as VP of Finance and Operations and Controller for diverse companies such as Pacific National Group and Shinano Kenshi Corporation respectively.
