West Coast Staff Member Grows Into Management
United Performance Metals has promoted Chris Weber to the position of Western Regional Branch Manager. Weber has been working as the Western Regional Manager for almost 2 years. During this time, he has helped grow United Performance Metals' presence on the West Coast. Most recently, Weber was instrumental in the company's expansion into a new 65,000 square foot facility that is complete with inventory, processing, and sales capabilities.
Chris has spent 25 years in the metals industry in the positions of Regional Product Manager, Western Region Distribution Manager, and Inside Sales Manager. As Western Regional Branch Manager, his responsibilities will include managing the sales and warehouse staff of UPM's La Mirada, California branch office, managing inventory and equipment within the plant, and developing new customers while maintaining and growing current customers in the California region.
