Weldstar is pleased to announce the addition of ALM Materials Handling to their line of vendors. With the addition of ALM Positioners, Weldstar brings end-users new and unique lifting tools to improve production output and reduce cost.
ALM, located in Streator, IL, is a leader in lifting positioning equipment. Positioning large components for welding and assembly using cranes, chains, grippers and slings is always time consuming and hazardous. ALM's positioner lifts safely bring the work to the worker with unsurpassed speed and in the best ergonomic position.
Technical Representatives from Weldstar attended a 2 day in-depth training program at ALM's facility on July 17 and 18. The program provided Weldstar Representatives with a solid understanding of how these systems operate and applications that can be used to benefit the end-user.
The proper Welding/Assembly Positioner will offer a number of advantages:

The ALM Positioners can be custom designed to meet your specific requirements. They are available in single column capacities to 5,000 lbs., and 2 column configurations, fixed or adjustable base, having capacities from 8000 to 35000 lbs. Can be used in assembly or manufacturing applications, including welding. The ALM MHL-2P Positioner can be used by the Operator to raise and position his weldments or assemblies to a convenient height and working position, safely improving ergonomics, productivity and quality of workmanship.
