Weiss-Aug's Success at the SAE Convergence Show
In wheel electric motors, new software for cars, and new driver warning and assist mechanisms were just some of the innovations on display along with Weiss-Aug's custom solutions at the 2010 SAE Convergence Show in Detroit on October 19th and October 20th, 2010.
The show was very successful and Weiss-Aug engaged in many meetings with engineers from various automotive companies. There was much discussion regarding solutions for battery packs, and how Weiss-Aug's customized solutions address strength and stability in venting, caps, thermal protection and other areas for lithium ion technology.
Weiss-Aug also spoke with several companies regarding the receptacle and plug in handle for electric vehicle charging. Weiss-Aug is TS 16949 certified provider of custom precision metal and plastic components & assemblies, developed through core competencies in metal stamping and insert molding.
